WEEKEND SPORT: Well, what a week. I want to say thank you to all of the hardworking Fraser Coast Regional Council staff, Emergency Services and volunteers who have worked incredibly hard in our community to keep everyone safe during the floods. Times like these show our true colours and the community spirit of our region.
To everyone who has been affected, we offer our sympathies but, more importantly, our support and know we will get through it together.
Once again, it is a bit of an unknown if sports will go ahead with the unpredictable weather forecast, but hopefully, we can get out and burn off some energy on some of our local sporting fields.
