DASH’S WEEKEND SPORTS DIARY

WEEKEND SPORT:  Hi everyone, Dash here; I hope you had a good week.  It looks like it will be a wet Friday; let’s hope that doesn’t cause problems with the weekend sport.

CRICKET: Tonight, the Hervey Bay RSL T10 Bash begins.  A bit of fun on a Friday evening.  Please get out and check it out.

This week in the Fraser Coast Senior competition, Past Grammars play Ausrocks in Maryborough while the Bushrangers teams play each other in Hervey Bay.

Cavaliers and Cavnish will also face off in Hervey Bay.

Our under 12 and 14 Fraser Coast teams will travel to Gympie this Sunday to take on Gympie.  Good luck to everyone.

SOFTBALL: Softball action continues in both Maryborough and Hervey Bay.  Check the relevant Association Facebook pages for details.

CYCLING:  Round two of the Trade Tools Super Crit series scheduled for Maryborough on Sunday has been cancelled.  The series will return next week.

I enjoyed my time at round one of the Trade Tools Super Crit cycling last Sunday and caught up with lots of people and made some new friends.

ATHLETICS:  Good luck to all of the Little Athletics competitors from around the region who head to Bundaberg tomorrow to compete in the regional event.

Thank you to my friend Emma from Channel Seven who gave me some tips on videoing at cricket last Saturday.  You can always teach this dog new tricks.

Have fun over the weekend and get out and support our sports and sportspeople.
