SUNBURY BLUES CLUB REPORT 28 July

Proudly supporting junior sport

FOOTBALL: Due to the inclement weather, not much football was played over the weekend.

We had one lucky junior team compete.

The u/12 competition took on a new format with 2 divisions decided after 3 rounds of Football.

The Blues were placed in Division 1 and commenced their campaign on Saturday.

With new team combinations on board, they travelled to Hervey Bay Precinct to tackle KSS Hercules.

Some strong defensive efforts from Emerson Board, Kingston Scanes and Dan Moore in the backline with lots of communication from Jordan Moller (Goalkeeper) kept the scoreboard in Sunbury’s favour.

Madaya Bull, Piper Coram, Zachery Bell, Chris Chapman and Noah Western all contributed with great plays in their positions on the field.

Flynn Davies, Akin Farrell, Jett Hayler were outstanding upfront.

Excellent passing and teamwork led to Akin scoring two great goals with Jett chipping in with 1 to secure a 3-1 victory.

It was a brilliant win from the Blues.

Congratulations to the whole team on an impressive game.
