There are plenty of options this weekend if you need your fix of local sport.

FOOTBALL: The Fraser Coast Ladies division one Grand Final will be played at 6.30 pm tonight at the Fraser Coast Sports and Recreation Precinct between the Bayside Strikers and United Warriors.

Other matches include a ladies division two semi-final between Fraser Flames and Tinana at the Sports Precinct and Granville and KSS Jets at Federation Park Maryborough.

The youth girl’s grand final between the United Warriors and Tinana kicks off from 5 pm at the Fraser Coast Sports and Recreation Precinct.

HOCKEY: State indoor hockey women’s master’s tournament gets underway on Saturday with teams playing in two divisions at the Maryborough Hockey Centre over Saturday and Sunday.

RUGBY: the Fraser Coast Mariners are up against Turtle Brothers at the Waves Complex in Bundaberg at 7 pm.

CRICKET: Cavnish plays Bushrangers in Hervey Bay while Ausrocks play Cavaliers in Maryborough. Matches get underway at 12.30 pm.

BMX: The Maryborough BMX hold their last club meeting tonight at their Tinana track before next week’s Maryborough Twilight meeting.

CYCLING: The Fraser Coast Cycling Club will host their Road Season Championship race this Sunday (weather permitting at Bidwill Road.

It is a scratch race (same course and distance for all riders)

with the following divisions: A Grade; B Grade; C Grade; and Women’s.

SOFTBALL: Maryborough Softball continues on Saturday with their next round of fixtures. The association is turning spooky with a Halloween theme for diamond ball and t-ball players.

BASKETBALL: Maryborough Junior Basketball continues this afternoon while Hervey Bay men’s and mixed fixtures return Sunday afternoon.
