WEEKEND SPORT: It may be a little cooler, but the weather has been exemplary, and we are ready for a full weekend of sports. Hi everyone, Dash here. I hope you have had a great week.
RUGBY LEAGUE: In this week’s round, Wallaroos return home to play ATW on Saturday before Wests play Hervey Bay and Brothers and Easts clash at Salter Oval on Sunday.
The juniors continue on Saturday at Ralph Stafford Park Hervey Bay. The Wide Bay female competitions travel out to Gayndah to pay.
FOOTBALL: Granville hosts the KSS Jets at Canning Park in this week’s fixtures, while the United Park Eagles travel to Hervey Bay to play the Fraser Flames. S.C. Corinthians host Doon Villa at Martens Oval.
Sunbury’s match against Across the Waves is to be played later.
This week in the women’s, the Fraser Flames play UPE on Friday night at the Fraser Coast Sports and Recreation Precinct while Sunbury host Across the Waves in Maryborough.
The United Warriors are at home to the KSS Jets.
Tinana and Diggers will match up at Federation Park on Saturday.
Juniors are on in both Maryborough and Hervey Bay.
HOCKEY: In Fraser Coast men’s hockey this weekend, Granville plays Magpies, and CBR play HB Brothers in Maryborough. The women’s competition has a break for the week.
AFL: There is only one game this weekend in the seniors, with Bay Power hosting ATW. They also meet in the reserves with the Maryborough Bears hosting Brothers Bulldogs. Youth games are also being played in Maryborough and Hervey Bay.
CYCLING: The fourth race in the B Mee Crit Series is this Sunday at the Hervey Bay Industrial Estate, racing from 7 am.
