WEEKEND SPORT: Good morning, everyone; Dash here; I hope you are keeping dry. It is a bit unknown about what sport will be on this weekend with all this rain. Just make sure you keep up to date with your sport or club’s social media and or message services to get the latest information.

FOOTBALL: All Hervey Bay and Maryborough football have been cancelled for this weekend. Bundaberg games are still going ahead as I write this. There is a men’s and a women’s game involving Bundaberg teams in Premier League. Both are at Marten’s Oval. There is also an Australia Cup match between ATW and Frenchville scheduled for tomorrow at 6.30 pm.
SPEEDWAY: The King of the Ring Maryborough Speedway meeting has been cancelled.
TRIATHLON: The Hervey Bay Triathlon Teams Triathlon event scheduled for Sunday has been cancelled.

AFL: This weekend, a new name will appear on the AFL Wide Bay Premiership Cup when Across the Waves plays Bay Power in the 2022 decider. The first bounce is at 4.30 pm at Keith Dunne Oval, Hervey Bay.
Men’s round seven action kicks off on Friday night when ATW host the Bulldogs before Bay Power and the Hervey Bay Bombers meet in Hervey Bay on Saturday.

RUGBY LEAGUE: This week, Wallaroos play at home in front of their fans for the first time when they play Wests on Saturday before Brothers, and Hervey Bay and Easts play at Stafford Park with ATW playing at Salter Oval on Sunday.

HOCKEY: This is one women’s Fraser Coast Hockey game in Maryborough on Saturday when the Bolts play Tinana while Hervey Bay hosts Magpies and UniRoos. In the men’s HB Brothers and CBR clash while Granville and Magpies finish the night off in Hervey Bay.
CYCLING: The Fraser Coast Cycling Crit is still going ahead with a start time of 7 am on Sunday at the Hervey Bay Industrial Estate.
NETBALL: The annual Bundaberg Netball Carnival scheduled for tomorrow is still going ahead at the moment.
