WEEKEND SPORT: What a weekend of sports we have ahead of us with plenty of variety for everyone to choose from.
I don’t think there is enough time to check out all the sports I want to catch up on.
0FF SHORE POWERBOATS: The Australian Offshore Powerboat Club will return to Hervey Bay next weekend for round three of the Offshore Superboat Series.
The races will be the 11th consecutive year that the event has been run on the Fraser Coast.
AFL: This weekend, the Hervey Bay Bombers host ATW in Hervey Bay in round six while Brothers Bulldogs play Bay Power in Bundaberg.
In the women’s semi-finals, the Bombers host Bay Power while ATW host the Cats in Bundaberg.

FOOTBALL: Premier League action returns this weekend with the KSS Jets playing ATW in Bundaberg while the Fraser Flames host Bingera. Sunbury plays S.C. Corinthians in Maryborough, while doon Villa host Granville in a Maryborough local derby.
In women’s Premier League, Sunbury plays the Diggers in Maryborough tonight before ATW host the KSS Jets in Bundaberg tomorrow.
There are two games in Hervey Bay tomorrow, with the United Warriors playing Tinana while the Fraser flames host Bingera.

RUGBY LEAGUE: It is a Hervey Bay Seagulls and Wallaroos clash at Stafford Park on Saturday. The main game kicks off at 5 pm.
Junior fixtures are on in Maryborough this Saturday, with the first games beginning from 9 am.
HOCKEY: Fraser Coast hockey action returns with UniRoos playing Tinana and Granville up against Bolts tomorrow in the women’s competition.
The men’s CBR plays Magpies while HB Brothers play Granville in Hervey Bay.
NETBALL: Hervey Bay Netball fixtures return tomorrow with games beginning from 8 am. Check the Hervey Bay Netball Association website for details.
BASKETBALL: This afternoon, Hervey Bay junior basketball fixtures continue at the Hervey Bay PCYC, with the first matches from 4 pm. In Maryborough, the junior games begin at 4.15 before moving through to the under 18 games, which start from 7 pm.
