The Fraser Coast – A place where too much sport is never enough.

FOOTBALL: Various Football Queensland Wide Bay competition matches get underway over the weekend with Hervey Bay and Maryborough hosting games.

The only Wide Bay Premier League match on the Fraser Coast this weekend is between Granville and ATW at the Tigers Den in Maryborough.

Kick-off from 6 pm.

AFL: Maryborough and Hervey Bay communities will have the opportunity to watch senior AFL over the weekend.

The Maryborough Bears host Across the Waves in the reserves at Port City Park on Saturday and will thanks their partners for their support.

Bay Power host Brothers Bulldogs at Keith Dunne Oval while the Hervey Bay Bombers will be out to beat Across the Waves at Norm McLean Oval.

Junior matches continue on Sunday morning.

MOTOCROSS: The 2020 State Motocross Championships will be held at the Hervey Bay Motocross circuit at Dundowran.  Racing will be held over the two days.  Check their Facebook page for details.

RUGBY LEAGUE: Junior rugby league matches will be at Ralph Stafford Park Hervey Bay on Saturday. The feature match of the day is between Wallaroos and Hervey Bay Seagulls at 3.30pm in the under 18 competition. Visit Rugby League Fraser Coast Facebook page for game times.

ROWING: The Bridge to Bridge rowing regatta will be held on Saturday on the Mary River in Maryborough.  Check the Wide Bay Rowing Club website for details.

CYCLING: The Fraser Coast Cycling Club are holding their next race at Old Mill Road just left of Mungar on Sunday.  Registration from 8 am and racing commencing from 9 am.

NETBALL: The Hervey Bay Netball season continues Saturday at the Fraser Coast Sports and Recreation Precinct. Check the Association website for details.

HOCKEY: The Maryborough and Hervey Bay Hockey Association fixtures continue over the weekend. Check their website for game times.

BMX: The Maryborough BMX are again holding a club racing afternoon on Saturday at their Tinana track.  Racing from 3 pm.

BASKETBALL: Maryborough junior and Hervey Bay Senior basketball continues over the weekend.
